Looking to rent an apartment in Boston area?

I need to rent an apartment for the first 2 weeks of Sept 2007 -1st-16th, in Allston, Brighton or Brookline area of Boston.

Any ideas where to look???

A 2 week sublet in early September may be pretty impossible to find. You might consider booking a resident suite hotel instead, but book early because there will be a big influx of new students.

You might also watch http://boston.craigslist.org/sub/ and find someone who has been unsuccessful in subletting who would be willing to rent it for just 2 weeks. That would probably need to be last minute, because they'll probably want to hold out for a longer sublet.

Wow, that's going to be hard. . . . .That's when all the students will be back, so not too many will be willing for just two weeks. Your best bet will be to look on Craig's List. . . . if you get desperate, try to call some realtors, or you may need to just stay in a hotel. They will give a discount for extended stays generally.
